What is the Mid-Atlantic Baseball Association?

MABA Mission

At MABA we hold to a foundational belief that baseball is more than just a game...it is an opportunity to develop tomorrow's leaders today. We have an expectation of every team to exemplify sportsmanship, encourage character development, build confidence and skill development, and learn life lessons in both victory and defeat. We hold our coaches to a high standard of how adults act and behave under pressure as at all age levels they grew along with their players in knowledge and experience of the game.

If this is the kind of league you can embrace we welcome you and your team and encourage you to read on about the awesome value and benefits of being a part of MABA.

For the Spring, our Full-Time league consists of SINGLE AGE GROUPS of ages 8 and 9 that play single games during the week and Sundays and then 10 through High School (19U) age that have both a Division 1 and Division 2 in each that play games one weekday evening and a doubleheader on Sundays. (Note: Ages 14 and UP play two weekday games and a doubleheader on the weekend.). We also offer JV and Varsity High School Weeknight Divisions to High School Players.
The spring season begins in early April for 13U and under and ends with an MABA divisional tournament at the end of June for each age group. The 14U and up age groups begin at the conclusion of the public high school regular season concluding with the end of season tournament in early to mid July. We also hold an Awards Banquet in the winter to honor the top finishers from the spring season. The fall season begins the Sunday after Labor Day and continues for eight weeks of either 9 inning or doubleheader play on Sundays for the development of players.

MABA is a good value. We try very hard to provide a good league for the money. We offer a structured, organized league with not only regular league play but an annual tournament which is paid for completely by the organization. In fact, most tournaments charge more money for a two game minimum of weekend baseball than we charge for our entire season of play. And, most only give out medallions or possibly a team trophy to the first and second place teams. For less money, we offer a full season of play, a fully funded end of season tournament which includes both the Champions and Runner-Ups receiving individual trophies for every division in the league.
